Coimbatore: Two persons involved in chain snatching near Kinathukadavu apprehended: Police team honoured for swift action
Coimbatore: On September 15, a 3-sovereign gold chain was snatched from Mahalakshmi who was riding a two-wheeler at Masanaickenpudur within Kinathukadavu Police limits. A case was registered at Kinathukadavu Police Station.
A team headed by Inspector Murali and comprising Special SI Abdul Muttalif, Head Constables Ravishankar, Rathinasamy and Govindaraj and Constables Prabhakaran and Vinod Sharma Mercury conducted intense investigations. During patrol on September 17, they found two men moving about in a suspicious manner and investigated them. It was found that they were jewel thieves Ji (a) Prasanth and Arjun (a) Nagarjun. The police team seized a 3-sovereign gold chain from the duo and imprisoned them.
