Coimbatore: Official informed tehat 553 people have been isolated within the Coimbatore Corporation limits.


Coimbatore:553 people have been isolated in the Corporation areas, informed officials.

Coimbatore is undergoing a rampant spread of COVID-19 and of the infected lot, 70% are from the city. Many measures are undertakenby the Corporation Administration to prevent the spread. As part of the measures those who have been in contact with COVID-19 patients, people who have returned back home after treatment and asymptomatic patients have all been isolated at home. The isolations total 553.

Speaking about this a Corporation official said, "People who have been isolated and those living in the isolated areas are under the constant supervision of the officials. Currently 553 people have been isolated. All the required facilities and medical help are being offered to them."
