Joy, an Interior Decorator, is a resident of 9th Street, Tatabad. On September 14 he met with his friend in R.S. Puram, to collect Rs.2 lakhs from him. After receiving the money, he sat in the car chatting with his friend and his wife.
Suddenly, a young man with a knife attacked Joy. Joy who collapsed due to this attack fell out through one of the doors of the car. Even after this the unidentified man continued to stab Joy in various places.
The anguished cries of Joy were heard by the public and a lot of people gathered there. Following this, the attacker fled with his accomplice who was waiting in a two wheeler.
This incident was recorded in a CCTV camera in the area. Joy has been admitted into a private hospital for treatment.
The R.S. Puram police have registered a case and are investigating the attack.
