While many organisations have been staging protests demanding the cancellation of NEET all over TN, the SFI staged agitations near the Coimbatore District Collectorate. Following this they took out a procession and attempted to lay siege to the Coimbatore District Collectorate.
When the police attempted to stop them, a minor scuffle ensued.
The members of SFI demanded that the NEET that has been the cause for many suicides in the stat must be cancelled.
The DYFI also staged protests in front of the Coimbatore South Taluk Office.
