NEET examination centre in Tirupur for the first time

Preparations for NEET are going full swing across the nation. Meanwhile, for the first time, an examination center for NEET has been set up in Tirupur.



The NEET exam center has been set up at a private school in the Naalroad area, Koolipalayam. Usually 24 people are permitted to write the exams in a hall, however, due to the pandemic only 12 are permitted now. With a total of 1,080 people slotted to appear for the exams at this center, a total of 90 classes have been set up in the school, for NEET exams.



Teachers from other schools in Tirupur will appear as invigilators. With two invigilators per room, 180 invigilators have been appointed. The exams will begin at 2 PM and end at 5 PM. Students from Erode, Coimbatore, Karur and other districts will write the entrance test at this center.

Students will be tested for body temperature and those with higher body temperature will be checked again after 30 minutes. If the temperature remains high, a separate exam room will be allocated for them. The invigilator of this room will be provided with a PPE. Everyone will be provided with face masks and all the requisite safety measures will be in place.
