448 COVID-19 recoveries through Siddha treatment in Coimbatore

Coimbatore: The COVID care centre at CODISSIA has 300 beds dedicated to offer Siddha treatment to asymptomatic COVID patients. Until now, 448 persons who underwent Siddha treatment have registered successful recoveries.


Coimbatore: The COVID care centre at CODISSIA has 300 beds dedicated to offer Siddha treatment to asymptomatic COVID patients. Until now, 448 persons who underwent Siddha treatment have registered successful recoveries.

District Siddha Officer Dr. Dhanam said, "We have treated 652 COVID patients with Siddha at CODISSIA COVID care centre out of which 448 have returned home post successful recoveries and 204 more are undergoing treatment. Initially, there was not much interest shown in Siddha, but seeing the healthy recovery rate that Siddha has, many opt for it now."
