The Nilgiris:With the second season coming up the Nilgiris District Collector inaugurated the arrangement of flower pots at the Ooty Botanical Garden.
Due to the spread of COVID-19, the Ooty Botanical Garden was closed down for the past five months. On September 9, 2020 the park was reopened for tourists.
The Ooty Botanical Garden, Rose Park, Coonoor Sims Park, Kotagiri Nehru Park, Katteri Park and other parks under the Nilgiris Horticulture department were reopened for tourists.
With the beginning of the second season, 2,50,000 flowering plants have been prepared at the Ooty Botanical Garden. Flowering plants such as Dahlia, French Marigold, Salvia, Balsam and Begonia have been placed in 7,000 flower pots.

The floral arrangements are being placed in an attractive manner to draw the tourists for the second season. The arrangement of the flower pots on the exhibiting platform was inaugurated by the District Collector Innocent Divya.
