The Nilgiris: The Nilgiris District police have insisted motorists to keep their headlights on and to operate vehicles carefully as it has gotten densely foggy in the district.


The Nilgiris: The Nilgiris District police have insisted motorists to keep their headlights on and to operate vehicles carefully as it has gotten densely foggy in the district.

Intermittent rains have been showering in Coonoor and Kotagiri regions in Nilgiris. The regions around Coonoor have been experiencing intense fog.Dense fog and clouds in the mountain roads of Coonoor-Kotagiri, Coonoor-Mettupalayam and tourist places have been causing traffic disruption. Further, operating vehicles have also become difficult due to this.



Owing to this, the police department has insisted motorists to keep their headlights turned on while operating the vehicles.
