Coimbatore: Posters urging Edappadi Palaniswami be re-elected as CM for another term create a stir in the city
Coimbatore: With eight months to go before the Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, the political stage is already heating up. Stalin has been confirmed as the DMK's chief ministerial candidate after the recently conducted general body meeting that passed a resolution calling for Stalin to be made the party's chief minister candidate.
On the other hand, the AIADMK's chief ministerial candidate is still in question. Under the circumstances, posters have been put up at Kuniyamuthur and Town Hall in Coimbatore demanding the continued rule of Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy in areas including have caused a buzz. These posters had the name Tamil Nadu Netaji Subhash with pictures of CM Edappadi, former CM's MGR and Jayalalithaa, Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneer Selvam and Minister Rajendra Balaji.
They have listed the schemes by CM Edappadi and have mentioned that the list was limitless and asked those who criticize CM Edappadi Palanisamy to take a look at the achievements. They even have warned that the tongues of those who spread disgracing rumours will rot. They had slogans printed asking for a rule under CM Edappadi once again.
