Chetty Street House Collapse: Death roll rises to four


 Coimbatore: The building collapse in Chetty Street, Coimbatore had already claimed three lives until today evening. Now one of the recovered person has died in the Coimbatore government hospital.

Gopalasamy (72), Swetha (25) and Kasturima (65) were trapped in the rubble and died. Tanveer (5), Vanaja (65), Manoj (47), Manikandan (42), Kavita (46) and Sarojini (70) who were rescued from the rubble are being treated at the Coimbatore Government Hospital.

This evening, Manikandan (42) died failing to respond to treatment and with that the death toll of the fat building collapse has risen to four.
