Tirupur: BJP State Vice President Vanathi Srinivasan asked DMK to do something proactive to develop Tamil instead of writing slogans on T-shirts.
She said this while addressing the press after submitting a petition to the District Collector regarding monitoring beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana.

BJP state vice president Vanathi Srinivasan today filed a petition at the Tirupur district collector's office demanding action against those involved in scams in districts including Thiruvannamalai, Kallakurichi and Kanchipuram under the PM Kisan Yojana welfare fund scheme.

While addressing the press, she said, "Whoever committed fraud in the Prime Minister's agricultural assistance scheme should be prosecuted. Tamil can never be developed by writing it on T-shirts. DMK should instead shirt and make real efforts for the development of the language."
She said, BJP also opposes imposing languages. She said trilingual policy has paved the way for learning one more language in addition to the two languages taught already. She said BJP would congratulate Rajinikanth if he makes the move of starting a political party but only time would decide whether they would welcome him.
