Tirupur: Public in Tirupur protested in a novel manner with bandaged hands to repair damaged roads that have caused several accidents.

Sewage canal work is carried out in various parts of Tirupur Corporation. Since the work has not been completed yet, several roads are in worst condition with potholes. As the rains have been lashing recently and the street lights are damaged, several accidents are taking place in these ill-maintained roads.



Under the circumstances, public in Iduvampalayam area petitioned the Tirupur District Collector's Office demanding that the street lights be repaired immediately and the works to be completed soon to restore the roads.



They wore bandages in their hands to reiterate their demands.
