Coimbatore: The Nilgiris: Heavy rains in Coonoor caused a barrier wall to break as a result of which vehicles parked nearby fall into a stream.

Connoor was experiencing sunny weather this morning, but it started to rain heavily in the evening. The rain lashed Coonoor for more than two hours causing streams and rivulets in the city to flood.



Under the circumstances, a barrier wall on the road side in VP Street collapsed and two vehicles parked nearby fell into the nearby stream. One of the vehicles was a car that belonged to Senthil and another one was a light freight vehicle owned by Subramani.
