Coimbatore: Sportsmen are thrilled as stadiums have started opening all over the state.
The COVID lockdown has been eased in Tamil Nadu this month. The government has now announced that playgrounds can be opened and operated with appropriate restrictions. Hence, the Pollachi Municipal Men's High School ground has been opened.
Government school grounds in the Pollachi Anaimalai area have also been opened. Sports enthusiasts are excited to begin their practice and workouts.
In the mornings, the public are seen walking and the youth are involved in sports training.
Health officials and revenue officials have appealed to the public and youth coming to the grounds to follow proper COVID preventive measures.
