Coimbatore: The Chief Minister's announcement to allow public and private bus services between districts across Tamil Nadu from September 7 has brought joy to the public and business people.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Palanisamy today issued an order allowing passenger rail service within the state and public and private bus services between the districts from September 7. This follows theannouncement on August 30th to operate buses only within the district from September 1 across Tamil Nadu.

The announcement has been well received by the general public and the businessmen. According to industry sources, the lack of public transport permits has led to a persistent problem in getting people to work, further affecting production and causing further losses.

The public has said that the Chief Minister's announcement of this traffic relaxation will help restore normalcy.
