Prozone mall reopens after 168 days!

Coimbatore: Due to the spread of COVID-19, Prozone mall in Coimbatore was closed down on March 16. Following the government's latest announcement permitting the reopening of malls, the mall has reopened today.

Coimbatore: Due to the spread of COVID-19, Prozone mall in Coimbatore was closed down on March 16. Following the government's latest announcement permitting the reopening of malls, the mall has reopened today.



After 168 days the public have been permitted to reenter the mall.



The public who visit the mall have to register their information by scanning a QR Code. Following this their body temperature is read and only then are they permitted to enter into the mall.

The Director of the mall has informed that Prozone would be following the guidelines issued by the government and children less than 10 years of age, adults more than 60 years of age and pregnant women will not be permitted into the mall. He also insisted that the public must wear face masks when visiting the mall and that social distancing has been advised to them.

Shop owners have informed that they were glad that malls have been reopened after five and a half months and that shops would function with focus on the health of the customer.



Even though the mall has reopened after 168 days, it did not see many visitors today.
