Coimbatore malls all set to open; Here are the norms for visiting malls!

Coimbatore: Coimbatore's Prozone and Brookefields is all set to welcome customers after a five months break due to ongoing pandemic situation.

While Prozone mall, will re-open their doors on September 1, Brookefields has planned to function from September 4th onwards.

"Keeping in mind customer safety, the mall management team has implemented stringent norms for the post-lockdown era. The mall will function by following necessary protocols like social distancing, regular disinfection and screening of customers and assure a comfortable experience for its valued customers", said official sources from Prozone mall.

To maintain social distancing, the customers can now pre-book a slot for their visit to the mall in advance or at the entrance of the mall. This will be done via a QR code based appointment system. Customers can visit the prozonemalls.com website and fill in some basic details and avail this feature.

Arogya setu app is made compulsory for those visiting the mall. Additionally, there will be daily health checks of the mall and retail staff along with mandatory norms of regular sanitization & use of PPEs, as informed by the management of Prozone.

As per the guidelines given by the authorities the mall will open from 1st September. The timings for September 1, will be between 2pm to 8pm and from 2nd September onwards, the mall will function between 11am to 8pm.

Brookefields Mall

Brookefields is all set to welcome visitors from September 4, 2020. All necessary guidelines will be followed to ensure a safe and happy shopping experience for all our visitors, said Ashwin Balasubramaniam, Chief Operating Officer, Brookefields.

He added that the operational timings would be 12 pm to 8 pm, all mall visitors are requested to follow all mandatory protocols and ensure the following:

• Wear masks and maintain social distancing. Ensure use of hand sanitizers or frequent soap wash.

• Cooperate at Malls entry and exit points for temperature check and contact tracing application process.

• Children below ten years, Pregnant women, individuals with underlying medical conditions, individuals above 65 yrs. age are advised to avoid visiting the mall.

• Park their vehicles at alternate bay.

• Installation and use of aarogya setu app is compulsory.

• Comply with the following mall and Store’s Entry/Exit protocols for safe shopping experience by scaning the Unique Mall Pass (provided at mall’s Instagram or FB pages) or use Aarogya Setu App to get your own QR code for check in, show it at Entrance and exit for check in & check out procedures.

• Through the lockdown our essential maintenance team was working round the clock for continued mall maintenance be it cleaning, hygiene, safety and functioning of engineering equipment’s.

• All our staffs are following strict protocols of wearing masks, social distancing, washing hands frequently. There is a daily screening of temperature, anyone who has more than permissible temperature is not allowed inside.

• Frequent cleaning and fumigation of entire mall, high contact surfaces are ensured.

• The total number of visitors inside the mall at any point of time will be restricted to, not more than 3000 walk-ins.

• At entry and exit we have introduced a web-based app called Park + which will facilitate in recording customer contact and display no. of visitors inside the mall to restrict crowd.

• All MHFW (Ministry of Health and Family Welfare) guidelines will be followed by Mall including AC operational temperature maintained between 24 degrees to 30 degrees.
