"His current clinical condition is stable. He is conscious, responsive and participating in passive physiotherapy. He continues to be closely monitored by our multidisciplinary clinical team", said Dr. Anuradha Baskaran, Assistant Director at MGM Healthcare.

The legendary singer was admitted to the hospital in the first week of August to treat Covid and was later connected to ventilator and ECMO after his health worsened on August 14.
