COVID-19: COVID-19: Tirupur posts 96 new cases, 31 recoveries and 2 fatalities
Tirupur: The district of Tirupur reported 96 new COVID-19 cases today. The case tally of the district breached the 2,300 mark and stood at 2,337.
The number of active cases stood at 634 today.
The details of fatalities today are:
A 55-Year-old Female from Tirupur having COVID-19 RTPCR Positivity on20.08.2020 with DM / HTN admitted on 13.08.2020 at 11.28 pm at a private hospital, Coimbatore with Complaints of Fever and Cough for 4 days and Difficulty in Breathing for 1 day died on 26.08.2020 at 10.30 pm due to COVID-19 Pneumonia.
A 30-Year-old Male from Tirupur having COVID-19 RTPCR Positivity on 25.08.2020 with DM / HTN admitted on 24.08.2020 at 05.05 pm at DHQH Tirupur with Complaints of Fever,Cough and Difficulty in Breathing for 5 days died on 26.08.2020 at 08.15 pm due to COVID-19 Pneumonia.
In some positive news, the district discharged 31 recovered patients today, taking the tally of recoveries to 1,644.
