COVID-19: The Nilgiris logs just four new cases

The Nilgiris: As many as 1,473 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the Nilgiris district till yesterday.








The Nilgiris: As many as 1,473 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the Nilgiris district till yesterday.

Of these, 1,121 persons have fully recovered and returned home. The overall death toll for the district is 10. The remaining 341 have been admitted to hospitals and Covid Care Centres and are receiving treatment.

Meanwhile, the district logged just four new cases today.

Patient No. 1470, 51, Male, Kilkotagiri

Patient No. 1471, 12, Naragiri, Kotagiri

Patient No. 1472, 81, Female, Mallikorai

The District Administration has urged the public to refrain from venturing out except for essential medical needs.
