At the Coimbatore Corporation Head Office, Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer Shravan Kumar Jadavath on behalf of the Alayam Arakkattalai received over 3000 masks and gloves given by the Alayam Arakattalai Founder Chandrasekhar. Alayam Arakkattalai Director Mr. Karthik, and Alayam Arakkattalai office staff were present.
The Corporation Commissioner inspected the south and central zone and areas in Cross cut road and in around isolated cloth shop in the area. He advised the sanitary workers to disinfect twice and also advised the people in the area to wear face masks, adhere to social distancing norms and to get immediate medical check-up for symptoms such as cold and cough and take vitamin pills to boost their immunity.
He inspected the Special Coronavirus Treatment Center to be implemented at Siddhapudur Corporation High School in the Central Zone.
He also inspected the centres in Muthusamy Marriage Hall, Madukkarai Road, private marriage hall at Sundarapuram, private marriage Hall near Eachanari Vinayagar Temple and COVID CARE CENTER in private auditorium in Kalapatti ward 36. He enquired about the health, toilet, bed, electrical, treatment and the medical facilities provided to the patients. He also instructed officials to conduct more tests.
Zonal Assistant Commissioners Mahesh Kanagaraj (Central) and Ravi (South), Municipal Officer S.Raja, Zonal Health Officers Radhakrishnan, Loganathan, and Chandran, and Assistant Engineer Sundaraj were present during the inspection.
