Coimbatore: A 17-year-old boy who sexually harassed a girl has been arrested under the POCSO Act and sent to juvenile school. The Ramanathapuram All Women's Police has arrested a 17-year-old boy for sexually harassing a 13-year-old girl living near his house in Peelamedu, Coimbatore. He has been detained at a juvenile school.

The Ramanathapuram All Women's Police has arrested a 17-year-old boy for sexually harassing a 13-year-old girl living near his house in Peelamedu, Coimbatore. Police said, the victim was a ninth grader and the boy was studying at a private polytechnic in Kalapatti. They said the boy had taken the girl living in the vicinity to a nearby wooded area and sexually harassed her.
Following this, the police arrested the boy under the POCSO Act on a complaint lodged by the girl's parents and lodged him at a juvenile school.
