90 year old woman petitions against eldest son

Coimbatore: A 90-year-old woman has filed a petition with the Coimbatore District Collector alleging that her eldest son is trying to forge her one acre of land that is worth crores of rupees by producing fake documents.

Coimbatore: A 90-year-old woman has filed a petition with the Coimbatore District Collector alleging that her eldest son is trying to forge her one acre of land that is worth crores of rupees by producing fake documents.

Ramathal (90) lives in 3rd Street, Sivanandapuram, Coimbatore. She came in an ambulance with her younger son Chinnaraj and submitted a petition to the district collector. In the petition she has mentioned that she lives with her youngest son Chinnaraj after the death of her husband. She claims she owns an acre of land in Vilankurichi which has a market value of several crores of rupees. It was also mentioned that she broke her pelvic bone after a fall in 2017.

According to the petition, due to the fall she had undergone a surgery at a private hospital in Coimbatore for which the cost was borne by her youngest son Chinnaraj. Also she is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital as her left leg is fractured. Ramathal also stated in the petition that only the youngest son was taking care of her and bearing all expenses by borrowing loans. She also alleged that his eldest son Manickam had forged documents through a notary and received initial payments from 22 people for the land she owned.

The petition stated that he was trying to forge the land belonging to ramathal. She in her petition requested to recover her property. The petition was submitted on her behalf to her youngest son Chinnaraj.
