Kathirvel is the AIADMK Ward Secretary of the 74th ward, Telengupalayam, Coimbatore. His brother Anbazhagan who is into real estate business resides in the Rajeshwari Garden area near Selvapuram. Unidentified miscreants who entered into Anbazhagan's house and set fire to the Honda Shine two wheeler that was parked there.
The fire burnt down the two wheeler. On receiving information regarding this incident from Anbazhagan, the Selvapuram police who arrived at the place filed a case.
They are investigating the case to understand if it was done intentionally due to professional rivalry or due to any other political reason.
