Vinayagar Chathurthi festival celebrated at the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve

The Nilgiris: Vinayagar Chathurthi celebrations were held at the Theppakadu Elephant domestication camp at the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve.

The Nilgiris: Vinayagar Chathurthi celebrations were held at the Theppakadu Elephant domestication camp at the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve.



Baby elephants at the camp rang the bells at the Vinayagar temple in the camp and knelt down to worship Vinayagar, at the celebrations that were held in the domestication camp. Following the prayers, the elephants were lined up and were provided with sweets and special food.



The Tiger Reserve Field Director Srinivas R. Reddy, Assistant Field Director Shenbagapriya and other officials took part in the celebrations.
