Tirupur: The Hindu Munnani State President Kadeshwara Subramaniam has said that the TN government must change its anti-Hindu stance otherwise a panchayat-wise review of the government will be initiated.
He spoke to the press after worshipping the Vinayagar idol that has been installed at the Kottai Eswaran Temple premises opposite to the Tirupur New bus stand. He conveyed his festival wishes to the press and said, "The Hindu Munnani thanks and expresses its happiness to all who voiced out for the Vinyagar Chathurthi celebrations including the BJP State President Murugan, Kongu Peravai State President Eshwaran and all seers. Further G.K. Vasan, Sarathkumar and many BJP leaders have expressed their wishes for the festival. However, the DMK leader M.K. Stalin who is from the Dravidian tradition has not conveyed his wishes. The Hindu Munnani condemns this."
"Those authorities with a Naxalite ideology have been misguiding the government and have been posing a lot of hinderance. However, the Hindu Munnani has fought all of the challenges and emerged victorious. While the Vinayagar Chathurthi celebrations have been given a go ahead in states like Maharashtra and Karnataka, the TN government has been a bad example. The TN government must correct itself otherwise a union wise review regarding the government will be undertaken", he warned.
He further said, "The Hindu Munnani wishes that they would change their anti- god stance. Quashing a lot of anti- religious propaganda, more than 10 lakh people have installed Vinayagar idols in their houses and worshipped the lord.Vinayagar idols will be dissolved in water bodies today evening. We will respect the law", he stated.
