Wife of CRPF guard commits suicide while on video call

Coimbatore: The wife of a CRPF guard who has been posted in Nagaland committed suicide by hanging herself while on a video call.

Rajesh Kumar of Muthugoundenpudur works as a CRPF guard who is currently posted in Nagaland. He is married to Sangeetha.

While Sangeetha insisted that Rajeshkumar must come back home availing leave, he refused the idea saying that he could not get a leave immediately. He also informed her that he would come later.

Angered by his refusal to avail leave Sangeetha told Rajeshkumar that she would commit suicide during the video call and hung herself to death.

The Sulur police have filed a case and are investigating.
