Following this, the new members of the party were presented with membership cards. Youth Wing President Yuvaraj spoke to the press after the event.

He stated that the death of the 19-year-old medical aspirant in Coimbatore must not be baselessly associated with NEET.
He said, "The spread of COVID-19 has greatly affected all the countries of the world. However, the swift action by the Central and State governments has led to India controlling the number of deaths. DMK President M.K. Stalin has been issuing statements that cause unnecessary fear in the minds of the people. He has been using the disease for political gains."
He added, "The Sterlite judgement is a welcome one. The Reserve Bank should waive the interest rate on loans availed by the customers for another four months.The Central Government must take measures to control the price rise of petrol and diesel", he insisted.
