AITUC Sanitary Workers Union stages protest in Tirupur
Tirupur: Sanitary workers in Tirupur staged a protest on behalf of the AITUC Sanitary Workers Union before going to work today.
They demanded that minimum wage for day laborers should be Rs. 21,000 a month, contract employees should be made permanent as soon as possible, and action should be taken to make special allowances announced by the Government available immediately to the sanitary workers engaged in coronavirus prevention work.
