Newly appointed DMK leaders honour statues of Anna, Periyar and Kalaignar in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Newly appointed DMK functionaries, Coimbatore South Leader Paiya (A) R. Krishnan, Coimbatore East Leader Maruthamalai S. Senathipathi paid respect to the statues of the late leaders Anna, Periyar and Kalaignar in Gandhipuram yesterday.
Accompanied by a large number of party executives and volunteers the newly appointed Coimbatore district DMK officials accepted the responsibilities by garlanding the Anna statue. DMK MLA Na Karthik and DMK Executive ex-MLA CR Ramachandran led the honors and inducted the new functionaries to the party.
