Singer SPB continues to be on life support and critical, hospital

Chennai: Renowned singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, who was earlier this month admitted to MGM Healthcare in Chennai for Covid-19 was moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital, on Saturday.



Chennai: Renowned singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, who was earlier this month admitted to MGM Healthcare in Chennai for Covid-19 was moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital, on Saturday. 

The hospital in its latest bulletin has informed that the 74-year-old playback singer remains to be critical and is on life support at the Intensive care unit of the hospital. 

Earlier, SPB's son, SP Charan on Sunday had apprised that his father's condition is stable and improving. While, it would take upto a week or more, his father would be back, he expressed belief and informed that the doctors are also satisfied with his improving breathing function.
