Coimbatore: Even as COVID-19 keeps changing older people’s daily routines, the care and support they receive, their ability to stay socially connected and how they are perceived, Rotary Club of Coimbatore Metropolis & Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Metro joined hands on the Independence Day to provide care kits to senior citizens residing at three old age homes in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore:Even as COVID-19 keeps changing older people’s daily routines, the care and support they receive, their ability to stay socially connected and how they are perceived, Rotary Club of Coimbatore Metropolis & Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Metro joined hands on the Independence Day to provide care kits to senior citizens residing at three old age homes in Coimbatore.
The residents at Universal Elder care in Kovaipudur, Vishal Foundation in Thondamuthur and Kovai District Welfare Association in Mathipalayam were provided with the kits.
The care kits consisted of peanut packs, socks, gloves, masks, kabasura kudineer, and sanitizer, items that could boost immunity of the recipients and safeguard them against COVID infections.
