Angoda Lokka Case: Three accused ordered to be remanded into judicial custody separately

Coimbatore: The three accused in Angoda Lokka's death case were ordered to be remanded in judicial custody separately.

Coimbatore: The three accused in Angoda Lokka's death case were ordered to be remanded in judicial custody separately.

The three were produced in court on the 12th and remanded into custody for three days in connection with the death of Angoda Lokka. Coimbatore Chief Criminal Judge Shri Kumar ordered the three to be produced in court again by 2 pm today, allowing the CB-CID to take them into custody and interrogate them. Accordingly, the three were produced in the Coimbatore court today at 2 pm.

The judge held the hearing for about 2 hours and in the meantime the CB-CID requested custody for three more days but the judge denied permission. The court also remanded Dyaneswaran at Pollachi jail, Amani Tanji at Chennai Puzhal jail and Sivakamasundari at Coimbatore Central jail.

Amani Tanji will be lodged at Coimbatore Central Jail today and will be taken to Chennai Puzhal Jail tomorrow. All the three will be questioned by the court via video as they remain in jail for another 15 days.
