Of these, parks like Thernilai Kandasamy Park, Jothi Nagar Children's Park and Mahalingapuram Park are the most used bypeople. The parks are also a great place for the public to walk, exercise and entertain their children.
Currently, all the parks are closed due to the lockdown and people are unable to use them. Due to non-maintenance the park is full of thick bushes. This increases the risk of poisonous animals migrating into residential areas. Thus the people demand that the government renovate and maintain these parks to keep the residents nearby safe.
