Due to the continuous heavy rains in Valparai for the last few days, the animals in the forest have left the forest and are roaming the estates and residential areas. The Naga Kanniyamman Temple is located in the privately owned Waterfall Estate area. A lone wild elephant left the forest and came to the temple and worshipped the deity there.



The elephant touched the fence with its trunk, bowed three times, and returned to the forest through the tea plantation.

The video, taken by a passing worker, went viral. A wild elephant worshipping at a temple has surprised many.
