BSNL employees protest in Coimbatore against Karnataka BJP MP's comment calling them as anti-nationals and traitors

Coimbatore: All BSNL Federation members staged a protest against Karnataka BJP MP Ananth Kumar's comments regarding BSNL employees.








Coimbatore: All BSNL Federation members staged a protest against Karnataka BJP MP Ananth Kumar's comments regarding BSNL employees.

Various Trade Unions have been protesting against the Central government's decision to privatise various public sector undertakings and have been staging agitations. On the other hand BJP Ministers have been uttering controversial statements in support of the Central government.

Adding to this the Karnataka BJP MP Anandkumar had ranted that his BSNL telephone at home did not function and that all the BSNL employees were anti- national. He further said that all of these employees must be chased away and the BSNL must be privatised. This has not gone down well with the BSNL employees.



To register their dissatisfaction, protests were held on behalf of the All BSNL Federation. Many employees took part in the protests and raised slogans against the BJP Central Minister.
