Coimbatore: Gymnasiums which were closed due to the COVID lockdown restriction opened today after a 4-month period. A complete lockdown was declared last March due to the COVID pandemic.
Coimbatore: Gymnasiums which were closed due to the COVID lockdown restriction opened today after a 4-month period. A complete lockdown was declared last March due to the COVID pandemic.
The lockdown has been eased now with various relaxations. Under the circumstance, the Government of Tamil Nadu has given permission to operate gyms from today as the owners of the gyms have been continuously requesting the government to allow them to run the gyms with all the COVID norms in place.
Following this, the gyms in Coimbatore started functioning from this morning. As the gyms started functioning after a long break, young people who were interested in keeping the body fit came to the gyms and practiced.
The owners also said that the gym was run in accordance with the rules laid down by the Tamil Nadu government. The youngsters who visited the gyms to work out today said that they were lazy due to the closure of gyms and that they are happy that they are now open.
