Coimbatore: The advisory meeting of the Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam took place at the party office in Valparai.
The meeting that was led by the Valparai City Secretary Nellai Selvam appointed in-charges for all the 21 wards. Resolutions were made to create branch offices at all the wards, to hoist the party flag and to recruit new members to the party from each area, and prepare for the upcoming assembly elections.
Hundreds of people from other parties, from various areas such as Sholayar, Kallar, Kurangu Mudi Estate and Murugan Estate joined the Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam in the presence of the City Secretary Nellai Selvam.
The new members were welcomed with shawls.
The Valparai AMMK City Secretary Selvam, Selvin Loy, Shanmugam, Kumaragurubaran, Kongu Marimuthu, Dhanalakshmi and many other branch council city administrators and women's wing cadres took part in this meeting.
