CB-CID petitions for five-day custody of the three suspects in Angoda Lokka case

Coimbatore: The CB-CID police have moved the Chief Judicial Court, Coimbatore to grant them custody of the three suspects for five days to conduct enquiry into the case of Angoda Lokka.

Coimbatore: The CB-CID police have moved the Chief Judicial Court, Coimbatore to grant them custody of the three suspects for five days to conduct enquiry into the case of Angoda Lokka.

Amani Thanji of Colombo, SriLanka, Sivakami Sundari of Madurai and Dhyaneshwaran of Erode were arrested on August 2, in connection with Sri Lankan drug lord Angoda Lokka death case.

The case was transferred to the CB-CID and an enquiry is on. Under the circumstances, the CB-CID have now filed a petition at the Chief Judicial Court, Coimbatore to take the three suspects into custody for five days.

Since the court is on continuous leave, the verdict on the petition is expected only by Thursday.
