The Air India Express flight under the Vande Bharat mission that brought back passengers from Dubai crashed when landing was attempted at the Karipur airport in Kozhikode.
Some of the passengers belong to Gudalur, Nilgiris. Those passengers are Faizal Babu of the Ponvayal area, Padanthurai village near Gudalur and his wife Sajitha. Sadhana Shahjahan, daughter of Shahjahan of Pallipadi, Gudalur was also a passenger in the flight that crashed.
The family members of the passengers are in dismay as they await to hear back from their loved ones.
