SBI Sundarapuram Branch closed temporarily after Manager tests positive for COVID-19

Coimbatore: Branch Manager of SBI at Sundarapuram tested positive for COVID-19. Following this, the bank branch has been closed down temporarily.








Coimbatore: Branch Manager of SBI at Sundarapuram tested positive for COVID-19. Following this, the bank branch has been closed down temporarily.

The Sundarapuram SBI branch is located on the way to the Madukkarai market. The 43-year-old female manager of the bank developed flu-like symptoms over the past three days. Following this, she underwent a PCR test the result of which returned positive.

She has been admitted to a hospital for treatment. The health department fumigated the entire bank. Since the branch manager was tested positive for COVID-19, customers were not permitted to undertake any transactions at the bank. 

The employees were vacated and the bank was closed down temporarily. It has been informed that the bank will resume its operations from Monday.
