The southwest monsoon has been intensifying across the Coimbatore district for the past few days.

Due to the southwest monsoon, the water level in Noyyal River and Coimbatore Courtallam increased. In addition, 12 thousand cubic feet of water is coming to the Pillur Dam in the Mettupalayam circle of Coimbatore district.
