Coimbatore: In the wake of incessant rains in the ghat region, the Noyyal river which is flooding is bubbling over with foam. The residents of Sai Nagar in Podanur are worried as the foam could be toxic and is seen flying all over their residential areas.
Coimbatore: In the wake of incessant rains in the ghat region, the Noyyal river which is flooding is bubbling over with foam. The residents of Sai Nagar in Podanur are worried as the foam could be toxic and is seen flying all over their residential areas.
Due to heavy rains in the Noyyal catchment area along the Western Ghats in Coimbatore district, the Noyyal river is flooded, as a result all water channels are flooded.
Like last year, the residents of Sai Nagar in Podanur are left in shock as the Noyyal water channel that passes through their area is spewing foam at large quantities which they allege to be toxic.

Due to sewage water, the water is foaming at large levels and lamented that they fear of health hazards. The motorists ans passersby were amused to see such large level of foaming in the Noyyal river.
