According to reports, the idols of Sangilikarupparayan temple in College Road, Kavilipalayamputhur in Tirupur were reportedly vandalised, last night.More than 10 idols are reported to have damaged.
Based on the information received from the passersby, the police of 15 Velampalayam area are investigating the issue. Forensic experts are also collecting finger prints from the site.
The incident has caused a stir in the area.
