Tirupur: A road accident caused due to loss of control of a car led to the death of three people and injured four others when the vehicle rammed into a two wheeler.

College students Avinashi visited their friend's house in Koduvai in a car and were returning the speeding vehicle lost control near Pollikalipalayam area in Tirupur rammed on a two wheeler in front of them.
Due to this Saminathan and Rathinam, husband and wife who were riding a two wheeler were thrown from the vehicle and died on the spot. Subash, a college student in the car also died on the spot.
The other four students in the car were injured grievously and were admitted at Tirupur GH. The police retrieved the body of the deceased and sent it to Tirupur GH for post mortem.
The Tirupur Police Superintendent Disha Mittal visited the accident spot and investigated it. It is alleged that the overspeeding car was the cause of the accident.
