Tirupur District Collector holds telephonic grievance hearing meetings

Tirupur: Public hearing meetings to address grievances have not been held every Monday at the district collector's office since a lockdown was imposed on March 24 to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.

Tirupur: Public hearing meetings to address grievances have not been held every Monday at the district collector's office since a lockdown was imposed on March 24 to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.



Under the circumstances, complaints were received from the public over the phone from 11 am today, after the district collector issued a notice that they could report their grievances to the district collector by telephone from 11 am to 1 pm on Monday.

The District Collector spoke directly to the calls received on 0421-2969999 notified by the District Administration and recommended grievances to the concerned departments. The district administration has said that a public meeting will be held over the phone until the lockdown is in place.
