The monsoon rains that have been pouring down for the past two days in the Western Ghats, near Coimbatore, have caused an increase in the water flow in the Kovai Kutralam. The South West monsoons have brought about rain, day and night, in the Vellingiri hills, causing the streams and the springs to fill up with water.



The Kovai Kutralam water falls has been gushing with water and the increased water flow has crossed the protection barriers. Due to the lockdown, the public have not been permitted to the falls for the past three months.



The farmers and the public are rejoicing at the increased water flow that the Southwest monsoons have brought about.
