36 new cases reported in Tirupur today
Tirupur: Tirupur added 36 new cases to its COVID tally today.
Jallipatti near Udumalaipettai registered three cases.
NAS Nagar in Dharapuram and Senthil Nagar and Mahalakshmi Apartments in Tirupur recorded 2 apiece.
The rest of the cases were spread in the city of Tirupur and across the district.
Tirupur reported 36 new COVID-19 cases today taking the total tally of cases in the district to 909. There are 317 active cases while 26 people were discharged today.
The total number of home quarantine cases were 2,693 with the addition of 326 persons who were quarantined today. The number of people who completed the 14-day quarantine stands at 346. Samples for testing were collected from 597 people today.
