All-cargo flight service to Sharjah resumes at Coimbatore International Airport

Coimbatore: After a gap of 20 days, all-cargo flight service to Sharjah is all set to resume from Coimbatore tonight.


Coimbatore: After a gap of 20 days, all-cargo flight service to Sharjah is all set to resume from Coimbatore tonight.

Sources from the airport said, "Since the lockdown was implemented, Spicejet has operated six all-cargo flights. Meanwhile, Air Arabia operated two-way passenger flights between Coimbatore and Sharjah that also carried cargo. The Air Arabia service was provided from July 14 to 26.

After 20 days, an all-cargo flight has been scheduled to carry 18 tonnes of cargo to Sharjah at 10 PM tonight. The flight has already arrived and formalities like cargo screening are going on."
