In one such incident, a gaur that wandered into the Modelhouse area grazed on the roadside grass for a long time.
People on their way to the Uzhavar Sandhai and the apartment dwellers were frightened by the presence of the animal. After some time, the gaur went into the forests nearby.
The public have requested the Forest Department to drive away the gaur into deep forests before any untoward incident happens.
